The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts recruitment for Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
SSC CPO recruitment process:
Positions:
- Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Indian citizen
- Age between 20-25 years (relaxation for reserved categories)
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
Selection Process:
- Computer-based written exam (Paper-I) on General Intelligence, Reasoning, Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension
- Physical fitness test (PST/PET)
- Computer-based written exam (Paper-II) on English Language and Comprehension
- Medical examination
The application process for SSC CPO recruitment is conducted online through the SSC website. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply by paying a nominal fee using online payment methods.
After applying, eligible candidates will receive an admit card for the computer-based written exam on the SSC website. They need to download and print a copy of the admit card to appear for the exam.
The results of each stage of the selection process are announced on the SSC website.
